What personal data we collect and why we collect it
The personal information collected may include:

How do we collect your personal information?
We collect personal information that you may provide, including when you:
- sign up for the newsletter;
- subscribe to the blog;
- request follow up to blog comments;
- send a message through the contact form.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
Information received through contact forms are maintained as part of WordPress services on this site, and may be maintained through email programs. You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

No one. Alyssa hates that. AAR LLC will not sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to any third parties or external organizations.
You can unsubscribe from the blog, comments or newsletter at any time by unsubscribing at the bottom of the newsletter or a blog post received via email. You can also email or contact AAR LLC at the contact information above.
You may also contact AAR LLC at any time about what personal data is held (if any), request changes to that data, request the data be deleted, or express any concerns you may have.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Any collected data is maintained by WordPress, Mailchimp, Google, etc., and accordingly, is protected through those secured service providers. Any information exported and maintained locally is protected by firewalls and security programs to the best of AAR LLC’s ability.

In the event of a known breach, every effort will be made to notify you via within seven (7) business days.
What third parties we receive data from
Data is received through WordPress, Mailchimp, and Google Analytics, to the extent it is provided by you.
What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data
Nothing, except note through Google Analytics the pages viewed and clicked links, to determine whether the website provides visitors with the information they are seeking. However, that data is anonymous, and is maintained through Google Analytics.
Age Restrictions
This website and the newsletter are aimed at adults. AAR LLC does not knowingly collect any personal data relating to children under 18 years old. If you are under the age of 18, please do not provide any of your personal data, including your email address.
Changes to the privacy policy
